Samsung is rolling out the April 2025 security patch for the Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A55. The update is currently spotted in India with the firmware version numbers G990B2XXSBGYC9 and A556EXXS7AYC8, respectively. It comes with the standard changelog, which doesn’t indicate any significant changes about the update but it will improve the overall security of the devices.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A55 was released last year with Android 14, and this device also arrived with a promise to get four major updates, so it will get new updates up to Android 18.
