Samsung is rumoured to launch its first-ever tri-fold phone: Galaxy G Fold, which is anticipated to record videos at 8K 30fps Resolution. Let’s take a close look at the new report.
Reportedly, the Korean tech giant is actively working to stand strong against its rival in the foldable market by debuting its innovative tri-fold phone with great specifications. Initially, it was rumoured that the Galaxy G Fold would debut in the early second half of the year, but later it was reported for late 2025 or early 2026.
However, there are no official details regarding the specifications of the coming tri-fold smartphone yet, but despite that, leaks and rumours have already started blowing in the market. Meanwhile, now, a tipster, Panda Flash, on X, shared a post claiming that the Galaxy G Fold will be compatible with recording videos at 8K 30fps resolution but only with a wide camera.
The tipster also reported that, potentially, Samsung could not offer a 50 MP ultra-wide camera to its tri-fold. The current Galaxy Z Fold 6 also features a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, so it is possible the company will offer the same camera to its upcoming foldable phones.
Since Samsung has yet to release any official word regarding this report, it remains to be seen whether this leaked expectation will come true. Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy G Fold could be available in select markets.
