Galaxy M12 upgrades to One UI 5.1
Samsung has been trying its best to sending the Android 13-based One UI 5.1 update to as many of its devices as possible. Therefore, the company has pressed full throttle of its software update bulletin and working round the clock to expand the One UI 5.1 update to every Galaxy device, irrespective of its price range.
The company is focusing on its budget smartphones, and now the Korean giant is rolling out the One UI 5.1 update for another device named Galaxy M12 devices in Russia and Indonesia. Users who own the device can identify the update by its build number M127FXXU4DWC4. The update also brings March 2023 security patch.

The One UI 5.1 brings new enhancements to the Camera and Gallery of the device, and the image search is now more powerful; now, you can search photos of people by tapping their faces. When you start a split-screen view, the apps you use most often will be shown below your recently used apps to help you find the apps you need faster.

Quick access to useful information
Check severe weather alerts, daily weather summaries, and sunrise/sunset times at the top of the Weather app. The temperature graph now uses colors to show how the temperature changes throughout the day.
Hourly precipitation graph
An hourly graph now shows how much precipitation has fallen at different times of the day.
Summary on Weather widget
A brief summary of the current weather conditions now appears on the weather widget to let you know if it’s sunny, cloudy, raining, or snowing.

Continue browsing on another device
If you’re browsing the web on one Galaxy phone or tablet and later open the Internet app on another Galaxy device signed in to the same Samsung account, a button will appear that lets you open the last webpage you were viewing on the other device.
Improved search
Your searches now include the names of bookmark folders and tab groups. Improved search logic lets you find what you’re looking for even if something isn’t spelled correctly.

The new Battery widget lets you check the battery level of your devices, right from the Home screen. You can see how much battery is left on your phone, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch, and other supported devices.

Galaxy XCover6 and XCover7 Get Boost: Second April 2024 Update Brings LTE TDD Support to Europe
Samsung is consistently rolling out a new update to the Galaxy device, which aims to enhance network connectivity. The new software is coming under the second April 2024 security patch. After introducing the update to the popular devices, it has started rolling out the update to the Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy XCover6 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy XCover6 and XCover7 get support LTE TDD
Notably, the Galaxy XCover7 and Galaxy XCover6 Pro are getting new updates with the firmware version numbers G556BXXU2AXD6 and G736BXXU5DXD2, respectively. The update is exclusively available in Europe.
With the new update, the company has rolled out a new band as LTE TDD; however, the company hasn’t provided any details about the changes, but it is expected that the company will improve the overall speeds or provide stable connections to the 4G-enabled devices.
According to the changelog, models purchased in Germany cannot receive signals in LTE TDD bands in the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic.
If you are using the Galaxy XCover 7 or Galaxy XCover 6 Pro in any European country, then you can now update these devices by simply going to the software update menu in the system settings. If the update has not arrived on your device yet, then you have to wait for some time, as it takes time to reach every unit of the devices.
Samsung has recently rolled out an April 2024 security patch update in the Galaxy S23 device. With the last update, it provided security-related enhancements, and now, with the same changelog, the UAE units of the device are getting a second security patch update.
Users of the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are receiving new updates with the firmware S911BXXS4CXD8, S916BXXS4CXD8, and S918BXXS4CXD8, respectively.
As mentioned above, the latest update is coming with the same changelog; therefore, it is unclear what’s new with the update. Hopefully, the update will fix some bugs and improve the functionality of the devices. It is worth noticing that the update is coming after Android 14 and One UI 6.1, so the company may fix the internal issues.

The latest version of the device has received one major update in the form of Android 14 and also provides the One UI 6.1 update, which has provided several new features.
