New Images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series Give Us a Good Look

Published

on

The Galaxy Tab S9 series was unveiled at the Unpacked event, and after that, we were notified of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series. There have been several leaks of the fan edition tablets, and now the marketing images of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ have surfaced online, which helps us peek into the detailed view of the FE tablets. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE includes a single rear-facing camera, as per the photos, in contrast to the preceding versions, whereas the Tab S9 FE+ will include a dual rear-facing camera. The tablet will reportedly have a 10.9-inch display, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ has a bigger frame to accommodate a 12.4-inch display.

Earlier sources indicate that the Exynos 1380, an octa-core processor that we tested in the Galaxy A54 earlier this year, will power the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series when it debuts. Prior reports state that these tablets both support the S Pen and have thin display bezels. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE will come in two sizes, with the smaller model having up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and the bigger model having up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The display is said to have a metallic body, and a variety of colors were selected for the gadgets: grey, lavender, mint, and silver.

The presence of the metallic body can make users think of an expensive price range; however, the report also reveals the cost of the gadgets. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE will cost around 529 euros, while the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ costs around 699 euros. The firm will charge an extra 100 euros for selling the 5G variant of the tablets. The FE tablets will not match up with the premium tablet lineup, so we can expect them to make up for the customers anticipation. The upcoming FE tablet is expected to be released alongside other FE variants, the Galaxy S23 FE and the Galaxy Buds FE.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ were spotted getting new updates in Europe and South Korea. More specifically, in South Korea, the update is spotted for the Wi-Fi variant, which is coming with the firmware version numbers X510XXU3BXE1 and X610XXU3BXE1, respectively.

Meanwhile, in Europe, the 5G variant of these devices is getting a new update with the firmware version number X*16BXXU3BXDG, respectively. For the Wi-Fi variant, the update is coming with the firmware version number X*10XXU3BXE1.

Samsung updates Galaxy Tab A8 to the April 2024 security patch in several countreis

Published

Samsung has rapidly distributed the April 2024 security patch update for its eligible Galaxy devices, but due to the long list of devices, the company is still not successful in distributing the update to all the devices at the same time. Now, with the latest development, Samsung has started rolling out the update for the Galaxy Tab A8.

Notably, the Galaxy Tab A8 series has started receiving the April 2024 security patch update in South Korea and in several European countries. More specifically, the Wi-Fi and LTE models of the Galaxy Tab A8 are getting the update with the firmware version numbers X200XXS3DXD5 and X205NKOS3DXD5, respectively, in South Korea. Meanwhile, the European units of the Galaxy Tab A8 LTE and Galaxy Tab A8 Wi-Fi are getting the update with the firmware version numbers X205XXS3DXD5 and X200XXS3DXD5, respectively.

The April 2024 security patch update doesn’t bring any new features or changes for your tablet, but it will provide you with a bunch of security enhancements that will surely provide some extra protection against external threats.

It is worth noticing that the Galaxy Tab A8 tables are receiving the first update after One UI 6.0, so if, after the installation of the major update, you are facing any type of issue, then the latest security patch update may help you get rid of that issue.

If you are using the Galaxy Tab A8 device in South Korea or any European country, then you should update your device to the latest update by simply going to the software update menu from the system settings.

Galaxy Tab S10 Series may be delayed, but rumored to be released alongside the Galaxy S25 phones

Published

Samsung doesn’t follow a specific timeframe for introducing its flagship lineup of devices; for instance, the Galaxy Tab S8 series was launched in March 2022, while the Galaxy Tab S9 was launched in August 2023. There is almost a five-month gap in between, so the next Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra could be available with the Galaxy S25 series.

For the performance enhancement, Samsung is confused as to when it will provide which process for the Galaxy Tab S10 series. As Qualcomm officially takes the wraps off its Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus, it may face another issue as Qualcomm could unveil its Gen 4 processor in October. Along with this, it is unclear if the less expensive Galaxy Tab S10 and Galaxy Tab S10 Plus will launch next to the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.

According to some reports, the Korean giant is planning to introduce the dual chipset strategy with the Galax S25 series devices. It is expected that some models will feature the Exynos variant while the Snapdragon processor will power others. Some rumors also claim that the Exynos 2500 could be rolled out in two versions: one equipped with an Octa-core CPU cluster and the other equipped with a 10-core cluster.

The 10-core cluster equipped with Exynos 2500 could be specially tailor-made for the tablets, maybe for the Galaxy Tab S10 series. If that turns out to be true, then it will be more cost-effective, and the user may get the next flagship table at a low price.

However, if Samsung uses its in-house processor, the Exynos 2500, then it may not provide certain weight to the competition in Apple’s upcoming m3 chipset-powered iPad Pro lineup. Due to all these factors, the company may take time to release its next premium flagship tablet.
