Galaxy S24 Brings iPhone-Style AOD Wallpapers with One UI 6.1

Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy S24, comes with a lot of stylish features and improvements over its predecessor; it is exclusively coming with the One UI 6.1 software out of the box. With the exclusive software, there are a lot of new exclusive features. Here we are talking about one of the most noticeable features of AOD.

The Galaxy S24 provides more utilities on Always-On Display

Samsung has introduced an upgraded version of AOD for the Galaxy S24 series which will be capable of displaying wallpapers and widgets. This means the user will now be able to set their favourite wallpaper on the AOD screen as well. Along with this for making the AOD more usable now you can also set some widgets on the screen and get more information without unlocking your phone.

As far as widget availability is concerned, there will be limited widgets that will be supported for the screen, including Calendar, Clock, Reminder, Samsung Health, Weather, etc. So if you want to take advantage of these widgets, you just need to activate them manually.

The AOD screen is the most battery-consuming feature; if you are also worried about it, then Samsung has already brought a solution for that. The company has introduced a new OLED panel that supports a refresh rate as low as 1 Hz, so the device can efficiently use its battery life.
