Moving forward, the company has rolled out a February 2024 security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 devices in the US. The carrier-locked and unlocked variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 are getting the update with the version numbers F731USQS2BXAD and F731U1UES2BXAD, respectively.
Meanwhile, the locked version of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is getting an update with the firmware version number F946USQS2BXAD. As per the information, the update has been spotted on two carriers, including MetroPCS and T-Mobile, and is expected to be available to more carriers in the next few days. While the unlocked version of Galaxy Z Fold 5 is getting the update with the firmware version number F946U1UES2BXAD.
The update includes the February 2024 security patch, which aims to provide security-related enhancements for the devices. Along with this, the update may also improve the overall performance of the devices, but it will not provide any significant features for the devices. If you want some interesting features, then you have to wait for the One UI 6.1 update, which will be soon available for your devices.
According to the information, the One UI 6.1 update will be available for the older Galaxy devices after providing a February 2024 update to the devices, so first, you have to update the device in the February 2024 update.
