Galaxy Z Flip 6 Offers Smart Screen Features for Language Translation

Samsung is just a week away from the official launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. Ahead of the official debut, leaks and rumors are continuously blowing in the market. Now the new leak says that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 makes smart use of the cover screen for language translation.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6 will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. This software version will bring dozens of new AI-powered tools, including a new feature that uses the cover screen intelligently during language translation. A tipster on X shared marketing images of the Galaxy Z Flip 6. It has been revealed that Samsung has upgraded the interpreter mode for foldable phones.

The images showcase that translated text is also visible on the cover screen to make it easier to see for the person conversing with the phone’s user. On the other side, a similar feature is also expected to arrive for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Although Google has already introduced a similar feature for the Pixel Fold, now Samsung is looking forward to the feature.

This feature will be beneficial in scenarios like international business meetings where you do not understand your colleague’s language. This feature will only work in Flex Mode, which means you have to fold the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s screen halfway to activate the cover screen. The latest Galaxy Z Flip 5 already has the Interpreter Mode, so it’s quite possible that the brand could expand this feature to the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
