Samsung Launches ‘Galaxy Easy Compensation’ Program for Pre-Owned Phones

Samsung Electronics has headed towards a new and exciting program for its Galaxy audience.

Beginning on the 14th, Samsung is starting a new compensation program named “Galaxy Easy Compensation” that lets customers residing in Korea who wish to sell their used Galaxy smartphones on Samsung.com at any time all over the year, even if they do not purchase a new product in exchange.

This new Galaxy Easy Compensation program is only applicable for models including the Samsung Galaxy S23, S22, S21, and S20 lineup; Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 4, Flip 4, and Fold 3 Flip 3.

Alternatively, Samsung also demonstrated the entire process, which states that the customers who are willing to sell their used Galaxy smartphones can now check the estimated price tag for the phones on the dedicated page of the Galaxy Easy Compensation program on the Samsung.com website. This is then followed with the applications for the program and, lastly, sending their smartphone via courier by following the collection guide.

For more detailed information, customers can visit Samsung’s official website from the 14th of January.

Well, Samsung will divide all the used Galaxy units into three categories: Excellent, Good, and Recycle, according to their condition, and then only the compensation amount will be paid to the customer by seeing the appropriate category. Moreover, this will significantly help Samsung to preserve the market value of the Galaxy smartphones via the Galaxy Easy Compensation program.

Lastly, Samsung’s main aim is to purchase used Galaxy smartphones that people do not use, which can be further used for resale purposes in the future, thereby contributing to the circular economy. Simultaneously, this newest Galaxy Easy Compensation program is currently only limited to the domestic (Korean) market, but it’s expected to expand to the overseas regions in the future.
