
Samsung’s current Galaxy S25 series is the first to be powered with Android 15-based One UI 7, out of the box. Now, with a new update the seamless update journey begins!
Although the company is already undergoing the February 2025 security update rollout for all of its eligible Galaxy devices from different parts of the world; meanwhile, the company has started delivering the latest software for the Galaxy S25 series owners.
The February software update is now available for Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra in countries like Europe and India simultaneously, while the update for each device can be identified with the S931BXXU1AYB4, S936BXXU1AYB4 and S938BXXU1AYB4 build numbers, respectively.
Meanwhile the Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra are getting new update with the firmware version number S911BXXU8CYB4, S916BXXU8CYB4 and S918BXXU8CYB4 respectively. The device is getting new update in Europe
Meanwhile, the software; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes, rather it introduces a lot of improvements for the overall device’s security and core functionality. It integrates plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version in order to offer a more safe and secure experience to the users, while also protecting the device against external harms.
At the same time, the update further adds stability to the overall system behavior and brings performance optimizations that significantly leads to a smooth, efficient and optimized functionality.
The February 2025 update rollout for Galaxy S25 series owners is already going live in Europe and Asia (India), while the patch already hit the devices in the US.
