Breaking: One UI 7 Beta 4 Second Hotfix Arrives for Galaxy S24 in the USA

While the stable One UI 7 release is currently kept on hold, Samsung seems to be passionately focusing on fixing certain issues that have been acknowledged within the latest One UI 7 Beta 4. Named as 4th Beta hotfix, now, US carrier-locked Galaxy S24 series owners began receiving the refresh rate drop fix, which has already gone live in other regions.

Following the previous hotfix that resolved the VVM crash issues, the rollout of second One UI 7 4th beta hotfix for the carrier-locked Galaxy S24 series owners has now begun in the US that carries the ZYBF build number. 

Meanwhile, the One UI 7 Beta 4hotfix changelog lists that the update fixes the issue where the users have been complaining about the refresh rate drops in certain situations, while also fixing other relevant bugs in order to offer a smooth yet efficient user experience. 

In case you missed it! It is the similar beta 4 fix that has already gone live in other regions, including India, Germany, Poland, and South Korea with the same version number listed above.

Moreover, Samsung has made its intentions clear that it is currently only focusing on fixing issues that have been acknowledged in the previous One UI 7 beta 4 update. 

Since there’s no statement regarding the timeframe of stable One UI 7 release, a recent report leaked that Samsung is aiming to begin One UI 7 rollout for Galaxy S24 series owners and other eligible smartphones in mid-April and the distribution phase will get extended to May, 2025.
