Samsung still remains at the top among other Android partners when it comes to providing updates to its Galaxy devices; meanwhile the previous generation Galaxy S24 family alongside Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 units already received the One UI 7 stable update and now, the company is expanding the May 2025 security patch in the Canadian market.
The May 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra reaches Canada and is identified with the build numbers S921WVLS4BYE3, S926WVLS4BYE3 and S928WVLS4BYE3, respectively.
Similarly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 models are also getting the same update that carry the build numbers, F956WVLS2BYE3 and F741WVLS2BYE3, respectively.
More specifically, the latest security patch, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly focuses on strengthening the device’s overall security and core functionality. It integrates a host of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that were addressed in the previous version in order to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats and harm.
At the same time, the update further adds stability to the entire system behaviour and brings certain performance optimisations that eventually provide a smoother, stable and optimised experience to the users.
