Galaxy Wearables can control Air Conditioners to offer peaceful sleep

Samsung has worked on improving the user’s sleeping experience by analyzing their patterns for years. While Galaxy watches just received the Sleep Apnea feature, these wearables alongside Galaxy Ring will be able to help users to have better sleep with a smart connectivity with Samsung ACs.

Basically, Samsung is looking towards initiating a new ability that will apparently allow some selective Samsung AC units to be able to communicate with the Galaxy watches and the Galaxy Ring and can have an ideal ambient temperature throughout the night to provide a peaceful sleep to the users.

Specifically, a study conducted with Kyunghee University provided a detailed analysis of the user’s sleeping pattern to find out the exact ideal ambient temperature.

The study concluded that a person has five stages of sleep in 90 minutes: falling asleep, REM sleep, and three NREM sleep stages, which is repeated four to six times in the entire night.

Every stage has its ideal room temperature and thus, Samsung developed a code, named Good Sleep Mode of Galaxy Watches and Galaxy Ring, that could possibly control the AC’s settings at night, maintaining an ideal temperature that is suitable for every different sleep stage.

Well, this Good Sleep Mode of Galaxy Wearables significantly collects the sleep data and can easily control AC’s temperature by lowering the temperature automatically, maintaining its optimal temperature for 90-min sleep cycle and then adjust the temperature that is ideal for the user’s better sleep.

For now, this ability is currently available for Samsung AC series, including AR-B, AR-C, AR-F and AR-D, alongside Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch 4 or higher.
