Samsung Health App to Welcome AI-Powered Health Coach Beta

Samsung is making efforts in bringing a significant leap towards delivering proper medical guidance right at home via the Samsung Health app.

The company took part in the Galaxy Tech Forum conducted in New York, where it announced that it is getting prepared to unveil a beta version of its AI Health Coach in the form of a chatbot that will significantly use AI to analyze users’s daily health data collected from wearable devices such as Galaxy watches and mobile devices in order to provide personalized health care guidance, while also implementing doctors’s recommendations. Beginning in the US, the AI Health Coach feature will be launched by the end of this year; however, it’s still not clear when the feature will be expanded to its home country, South Korea.

At the same time, Samsung further stated that this newest AI-based Health Coach feature will be integrated into the Samsung Health app, allowing seamless connectivity between Galaxy wearable devices and a much more improved health care system. The company also highlighted that this AI-powered inclusion will eventually be far better than going for a clinical visit to a doctor.

Beyond this, most prominently, Samsung has adopted a hybrid privacy mechanism that apparently processes users’s personal data on the cloud for an enhanced performance, while also offering users options to choose whether the data stayson their device or can be shared on the cloud.

Well, Samsung has also announced a collaboration with Xealth, a US-based digital health care company, in order to create a more improved digital health care ecosystem.
