Galaxy S25 Receives One UI 8 Beta 4, Stable Release Could Be Next [Full Changelog]

Just in! Samsung has started rolling out the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S25 series in several eligible regions.

The fourth One UI 8 beta is now available for the Galaxy S25 family in almost all the eligible countries, including the US, Germany, India, the UK, and South Korea. However, the availability of the latest beta build is currently doubtful in Poland, but it’s expected to be received in the near future.

One UI 8 Beta 4 Now Available for Galaxy S25 Series

Right after a gap of over one month, Samsung already started the One UI 8 Beta 4 rollout for the entire Galaxy S25 family, who were testing the previous Beta 3 version and will automatically receive the newest beta build. At the same time, the latest One UI 8 Beta 4 firmware for the Galaxy S25 smartphones is identified with the version number ZYGB and is entirely packed with some significant bug fixes and other relevant improvements.

Specifically, the new update features a bunch of bug fixes, where the update fixes the operation errors of Galaxy AI reply suggestions, fixes an editing error with iNavu dashcam videos, fixes outgoing call failures with TalkBack turned on, and more other key fixes. At the same time, the new beta update significantly adds an emergency update feature for the Samsung IMS service and adds support for full-screen switching while playing videos when using Samsung DeX.

    • Added Samsung IMS Service emergency update feature to support high quality (HD) voice, video, and enhanced chat services on Galaxy devices.
      • Notification or pop-up may appear for IMS service update and require device restart to activate the feature.
    • Added support for full screen switching while playing videos using DeX.
  • Resolved Issues:
    • Fixed an operational issue with Galaxy AI Reply Suggestions.
    • Fixed a loading issue when Bixby routine commands are triggered via voice.
    • Fixed a display issue in the quick launch icon area on the lock screen.
    • Fixed an issue with editing iNavi dashcam videos in the Gallery app.
    • Fixed an issue where the message “Fingerprint sensor not responding” appeared on the lock screen.
    • Fixed an issue with outgoing calls when attempting Swipe to Call from the Contacts list with TalkBack enabled.
    • Fixed a flickering issue of the vertical/horizontal level indicator when switching from front to rear camera.
  • General Improvements:
    • Enhanced software stability through updates to multiple apps.
