The Samsung Galaxy S25 series has achieved a new sales milestone of 19.57 million units and set a new benchmark for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series to prove itself better.
In late January 2025, Samsung debuted the Galaxy S25 series, which includes three models: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. During the pre-order period, it broke its predecessor’s pre-order records and then continued creating new sales records over time.
Recently, Samsung announced that it has sold 3 million Galaxy S25 phones in its home country, South Korea, even two months earlier than the Galaxy S24 series. Now, a reliable tipster, Ice Universe, shared a post on X, revealing that the Galaxy S25 sold 19.57 million units, while its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 series, sold 18.02 million during the same period last year. If we talk about the newest member of the S25 family, the Galaxy S25 Edge, it sold 650k units, and the company sales total 20.22 million units of Galaxy S25 Series.
As usual, the Ultra variant of the series, Galaxy S25 Ultra, remains the top-selling variant with 9.64 million units sold. Whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra during the same interval last year sold just 9 million units. These metrics show that the latest Ultra variant is performing well and resulting in a 7.1% increase in sales YoY.
The base variant Galaxy S25 sold 6.07 million units, which is 11.6% more than the Galaxy S24 with 5.44 million units. The Galaxy S25 Plus sold out 3.85 million units, a 7.5% increase from the Galaxy S24+.

Now, the company is looking forward to its next-generation Galaxy S26 series in early 2026, which also includes three models, but not the Plus one—Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. It will be interesting to see whether it will set a new sales record or the Galaxy S25 series remains at the top.
