Android Auto bugs affecting display, while non-functional Spotify Controls for some

Google has always integrated Android Auto with some exceptional features and upgrades; however, the service is more prone to bugs. Meanwhile, several users are already reporting problems regarding Spotify’s broken controls and grayed display.
Indeed Android Auto still remains the best driving companion to date; all credit goes to Google’s efforts in the recent past. At the same time, bugs have always been a significant part of Android Auto, as users have started highlighting more new bugs that they have been facing for a while now, according to reports via 9To5Google.
First up, a few Android Auto owners took it to the Reddit platform to share that they are facing a problem where their car’s display perhaps turns gray in color, while also reporting that the display ditches its normal black-colored sections and these black areas appear to be converted into gray.
In addition, users have further complaints regarding issues they are facing with the Spotify app on their Android Auto. Specifically, the Android Auto dashboard is continuously displaying a blank widget with controls that seem to be broken and are not working at all. The Spotify widget shows a Tap to Open label even after music or a podcast is currently playing. At the same time, the car’s in-built controls also appear to be affected, as the skip button on the steering wheel is non-functional.
However, it’s yet to be clarified when the fix for these Android Auto issues will be available. Also, users who have reported the problems have not mentioned the exact Android Auto version numbers as well.
Simultaneously, it’s perhaps possible that the graying out of the display will be fixed by Google’s side, while Spotify app updates might solve the in-built controls issue.
