Galaxy S25 Gets New Adaptive Clock Feature in One UI 8 Update

Samsung just released the One UI 8 Beta 5 to the Galaxy S25 series, bringing the distinctive ability for the clock to adapt to the lock screen wallpaper.
Samsung has already announced to roll out the final Android 16-based One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 sometime in September. On the other side, it is actively working on expanding the beta program, and recently, it has released the fifth beta update for the Galaxy S25 series.
Previously, it was reported that Samsung could offer a distinctive Adaptive Lock Screen Clock feature to the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S24 with One UI 8. Fortunately, the report comes true, as the latest One UI 8 beta brings the Adaptive Clock feature to the Galaxy S25.

The adaptive clock is compatible with changing its font size, orientation, and layout depending on the subject or object visible in the lock screen wallpaper, and it can also adapt to the space surrounding the subject, making it appear more dynamic.
To observe the feature more closely, you should set the wallpaper in which a person, animal, pet, or any other object is clearly distinguishable from the background. On the screen customization screen, if you move the clock around the subject in the wallpaper, the clock’s shape and layout adjust depending on the outline of the subject.
