Samsung’s Android 16-based One UI 8 progress seems to be in the final stages for the Galaxy S25 series before the company opts to begin the process of releasing the stable version. Meanwhile, the official beta pages are now live on India’s community forum for a few of its primary Galaxy devices that are eligible for the beta program.
Samsung has already announced that it’s going to expand the One UI 8 beta program for more eligible Galaxy devices, starting from next month, highlighting a few of them, and they are the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, Flip 5, A54, A36, and A35. Now, according to a recent report, public beta forums for all these listed Galaxy devices are now live on India’s community, thus hinting that the public beta release is approaching for India-based Galaxy owners.
Basically, such beta forums allow all the beta participants to discuss the update, followed by the inspection made by the beta staff in order to address certain issues and make further changes if needed according to the feedback received from the users. At the same time, this beta phase will apparently act as a brief yet minor program for the older Galaxy devices, excluding its current flagships.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy S25 series has been testing the latest beta builds for a long time, with the stable being reserved for the next month. Samsung is dropping the One UI 8 beta program in a few selected countries, including South Korea, the UK, the US, and India.
Well, it sounds slightly presumptuous when it comes to predicting features that will be making their way to older Galaxy devices, but since Samsung has offered the Now Brief feature to the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models, it’s quite possible that the company might add this AI-powered feature to more Galaxy models, at least for the S23 and Fold 5 and Flip 5 units.
