Galaxy S26 Ultra’s rumored Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC tipped to score 4M+ AnTuTu score

Samsung is highly anticipated to power the next-generation Galaxy S26 Ultra with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which is tipped to score 4M+ on the AnTuTu score.

Back in March 2025, during the Computex 2025 keynote, Qualcomm had already announced that it would launch its flagship SoC, Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, at the Snapdragon Summit 2025, which would take place from September 23 to 25 in Maui, Hawaii.

Recently, it was reported that Qualcomm’s next-generation SoC, which was supposed to be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, will be called the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Meanwhile, a new report from a reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station(DCS), reported that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 has scored over 4 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark. That would put it well ahead of its predecessor chips, which typically score between 2.5 and 3 million.

The tipster also reported that the chipset is expected to feature a two-prime-core and six-performance-core setup, integrated with the prime cores running at 4.61 GHz and the performance cores at 3.63 GHz. Reportedly, Qualcomm seems to have skipped low-power cores entirely, aiming solely for high-performance CPU cores, and graphics will be handled by the Adreno 840 GPU, running at 1.2 GHz.

Coming to Samsung’s side, it is already expected to power its next-generation Galaxy S26 series with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, at least in crucial markets. However, there’s no official statement regarding this prediction yet, so it remains to be seen exactly what will happen next.
