Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 7 and Watch Ultra Get August 2025 Software Update

Samsung is moving towards releasing the latest software updates for the entire Galaxy ecosystem, primarily consisting of its Galaxy phones and smartwatches.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6 series alongside Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra units are getting a new software update, but wait, this is not what you thought of!
New Software Update Arrives for Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 7, Watch Ultra
Not stable With the Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch update, basically, Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Watch 6 lineup, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra models that significantly integrates the simple August 2025 security patch and is now available in more countries.
Specifically, the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic models have already received the update in South Korea, while Samsung is now looking towards expanding the update in the global market, and this time, the update has been spotted in the US (Verizon), Europe, and Asia. At the same time, the update for the 6th generation watches comes with the version numbers R935USQS1BYH1 (40mm) / R945USQS1BYH1 (44mm) and R955USQS1BYH1 (43mm) / R965USQS1BYH1 (47mm), respectively.
In addition to the Watch 6 series, Samsung is also rolling out the latest August security update for the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra units, which have been identified with the version numbers L305USQS1AYH1 (40mm) / L315USQS1AYH1 (44mm) and L705USQU1BYH6, respectively, and the update is currently going live in the European countries as well as in the US (Verizon).
Well, the latest update simply integrates the August patch, which is minor and is not as major as the latest One UI 8 Watch update. At the same time, Samsung has previously released three One UI 8 Watch beta builds for the Galaxy Watch 7 models, and while the Galaxy Watch Ultra units are already enjoying the stable version, it’s possible that this major update could arrive for the Galaxy Watch 6 series as well in the coming future.
