Galaxy S26 Ultra May Be More Comfortable to Hold

Samsung’s next power-package smartphone, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is already in the development phase and is expected to have a more rounded front middle frame than its predecessor.
Ritually, Samsung launches the latest Galaxy S-series each year; for instance, last year it debuted the Galaxy S24 series, and earlier this year, the Galaxy S25 series. Following the same ritual, it is supposed to introduce the Galaxy S26 lineup next year.
The next-generation Galaxy S26 series is almost confirmed to include three models, including the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The company hasn’t revealed any official details regarding the design of these smartphones yet. Meanwhile, a well-known tipster, @UniverseIce, shared the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s image, showcasing the middle frame of the device.
According to the leaked image, the front middle frame of the device will be more rounded than its predecessor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This hints that the edges around the screen and frame will feel smoother and less sharp than before, which will be convenient for users to use the device comfortably without a case.
Apart from the design change, the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra is also expected to be thinner than the previous models. Previous reports suggest that the device will have a 7.9 mm thickness, whereas the Galaxy S25 Ultra has 8.2 mm. It will be interesting to see exactly what new design changes Samsung will introduce with the upcoming models.
