While flagships are in the Android 13 beta phase, the entry-level Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is upgraded to Android 12 with One UI 4.0 in several European regions.
The rollout of Android 12 for Galaxy Tab A8 firmware is X205XXU1BVI6 – introduced on the Android 12 device, alongside the One UI 4.0, and not the One UI 4.1, available on the Galaxy S22 series. It is currently available in Austria, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
The tablet welcomes the Material You, dynamic themes with a background-based color palette. In addition, more accurate privacy controls are also provided, starting with indicators indicating access to the microphone and cameras.
To search for updates on Galaxy Tab A8 you can go to the system settings by following the ‘Settings > Software Updates > Download and Install’. If you fail, you can try again in a few days.
