Here’s When Samsung’s XR Headset May Launch

Samsung seems quite close to launching one of the most-awaited devices, the XR Headset, as its exact launch date is revealed now.
Mark the date for October 21! A new report from our trustworthy colleague, ETNews, revealed that Samsung is now all set to launch the XR Headset, code-named Project Moohan, next month on the 21st, through an online event.
Noticeably, in most of the regions, such as the US, Samsung will launch the Project Moohan extended reality headset on October 21. However, due to the country’s time zone, it will be October 22 in South Korea.
According to the report, initially, the company strategized to launch the XR Headset on September 29, followed by the official sales in October; however, it has changed the plan and pushed the announcement to October to avoid a marketing clash among products.
If the report is to be believed, for initial release, Samsung is considering selling 100,000 units of its XR Headset, but it’s expected to expand production right after reviewing the demand in the market.
The XR headset will expand Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem, as it will join the Galaxy family, including smartphones, foldables, tablets, smartwatches, Galaxy Ring, and earbuds, while AI will play an essential role in delivering seamless performance across all of these devices.
