Samsung could launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold in the US Market

Samsung’s multi-folding phone, the Galaxy Tri-Fold, is all set to hit the US market in the coming months, as a new report suggests.

The Korean tech company has already teased its upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold phone on several occasions. A few months ago, during the 2025 Earnings Conference call, it announced that it would launch its tri-fold later this year; however, the exact launch timeline has yet to be clear.

Meanwhile, a new report from CNN revealed that Samsung is also considering launching the tri-folding phone in the US market. Reportedly, the company is still planning exactly which markets will get the device. Fortunately, the US market is on the list, which makes sense since the country has yet to see a trifold foldable on store shelves.

However, currently, there is no official information or any statement regarding the availability of the upcoming Galaxy Tri-Fold phone yet, so it remains to be seen whether this report will come true.

Previously, Samsung was supposed to launch the Galaxy Tri-Fold phone alongside the XR Headset, but a new rumor suggests that the headset will launch on October 21, while the multi-folding will launch sometime in late October or early November.

On the other hand, Huawei is expected to stand strong technically against Samsung’s tri-fold launch, but it faces major hurdles that are often overlooked, as its device doesn’t run Android due to a US government ban, which blocks Google services, including the Play Store, in favor of Huawei’s HarmonyOS. This seems to turn out as a major factor for Samsung when it finally introduces its dedicated trifold.
