Samsung delivers stable One UI 8.0 for Verizon-locked Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 in the US

Samsung opened up the One UI 8 beta program for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 a few weeks ago, and the flagship folding phones have started receiving the stable One UI 8 update, now in the US.
A couple of days ago, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 got the first stable build; however, it was only limited to South Korea, but now, Samsung is expanding the update for the Verizon carrier-locked foldables in the US. Also, the update will be rolled out widely over the course of time.
Meanwhile, the latest stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 has been identified with the version numbers F946USQU6FYI8 and F731USQU6FYI8, respectively. At the same time, the update further integrates the September 2025 security patch as well.
More specifically, the update brings the One UI 8 version that is powered by Android 16, which significantly adds more improved UI elements to provide cleaner, sophisticated layouts that eventually take the entire user experience to the next level.
Further, the update brings upgrades for productivity and accessibility as well as security & privacy, alongside adding new features for the camera, health tracking, multitasking, and more improved Galaxy AI, such as Gemini AI, an adaptive lock screen clock, and more that are tailored to the foldable form factor and to provide a more intuitive, smooth, and better user experience.
Moreover, the stable update further comes with the September 2025 security patch for focusing on improving the device’s security and core functionality that leads to secure behavior.
