Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup models are currently the hot topic among Galaxy fans; meanwhile, a new report claims that the standard variant will not include the suffix “ Pro.”
Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series, and a few weeks later, the Galaxy S26 series leaks and reports started blowing in the market. Usually, the Galaxy S-series includes three models: Base, Plus, and Ultra. However, it was expected that it would not be the case for the upcoming Galaxy S26 series.
Initially, it was reported that Samsung is considering introducing the Galaxy S26 models with new branding names, which are as follows –
- Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra
Previously, it was almost confirmed that Samsung would replace the Plus variant with the Galaxy S26 Edge. However, a recent report also revealed that due to the lower sales of Galaxy S25 Edge, the company is not shutting down the Edge lineup, which means that the upcoming lineup will not replacement.
Meanwhile, one of our colleagues, SamMobile, claims that Samsung has no plans to launch the Galaxy S26 Pro. This suggests that there will be no “Pro” suffix in the standard model’s name. If the report comes true, then the lineup will include three models with traditional branding, as mentioned below –
- Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra
However, Samsung hasn’t released a single official statement regarding the rebranding; it will be interesting to see exactly what will happen next.
