Samsung’s Sleep Apnea feature for Galaxy Watches is spreading to more countries

In June 2025, Samsung’s Sleep Apnea feature made its way to various European markets, and now, the feature is spreading to the Galaxy watches in Asia.
Well, Samsung introduced Sleep Apnea, a detection feature that utilizes accelerometer data to analyze breathing disturbance at the time of sleep, while also notifying users when sensitive symptoms of Sleep Apnea are detected; on Galaxy Watches via the Samsung Health Monitor app.
Meanwhile, the company is continuously working on expanding the Sleep Apnea feature to even more countries, and the feature is now available in Asia’s Thailand, considering that it will spread all over Asia in the coming future. (via X)
At the same time, Samsung’s Sleep Apnea feature is currently available for Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 5, Watch 6, and Watch 8 series, alongside Galaxy Watch Ultra and Ultra 2.
Well, the Sleep Apnea feature is slowly making its way to even more countries, including Europe, Asia, and more, from all around the world.
Nevertheless, Samsung has constantly worked on bringing next-level advancements to the health and wellness of its Galaxy audiences, even the company has collaborated with Stanford Medicine to improve and enhance the Sleep Apnea feature and sleep health. Also, this feature helps in promoting sleep health and has already received regulatory clearance, followed by the approval from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) in some key regions, such as the USA and South Korea.
