Samsung announces to integrate AI assistant Perplexity into 2025 TVs & monitors

Samsung Electronics announced that it has become the first company in the industry to incorporate generative AI, Perplexity, into its 2025 TVs and monitors.

In case you missed it, Perplexity is an AI-powered search engine that gathers and analyzes data from trusted sources to suggest in-depth answers and follow-up questions. It can offer optimal answers to your questions on several topics; for instance, movie recommendations, travel planning, sports game results, and corporate performance analysis.

Samsung has mentioned a list of 2025 applicable models for this integration, which are as follows –

  • 2025 Micro RGB, Neo QLED, QLED, OLED, The Frame Pro, The Frame TVs, and 2025 M7, M8, and M9 monitors.

You can easily use the Perplexity app on these devices by launching the “Vision AI Companion’ by clicking the Apps tab on the TV or monitor screen or the AI button on the remote control. Noticeably, Samsung TVs and monitors users equipped with Perplexity can receive one year of free subscription to ‘Perplexity Pro.’
