One UI 8 update is now available for Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+

Samsung has been delivering the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for all of its eligible Galaxy devices for quite some time now, while a large number of phones have been updated to the latest software. Meanwhile, the company is starting to roll out the update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.

Noticeably, spotted via a user on Samsung community page, the Korean tech brand is already rolling out the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, beginning from South Korea, while wider availability is expected over the coming weeks. Well, it’s obvious that the rollout happens in batches; the update will take some time to reach all the users.

Specifically, the latest Android 16-based firmware for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ has been identified with the X510XXU8DYJ4 and X610XXU8DYJ4 version numbers, respectively. It’s important to note that the update for the fan edition tablets is currently available for the Wi-Fi models; it will be expanded to the 5G models shortly.

Meanwhile, Samsung’s One UI 8 is powered by the excellence of Android 16, which adds new UI elements that feature vibrant colors, streamlined widgets, and optimized layouts for an intuitive and sleek design.

At the same time, the update further lets you discover a more convenient and connected experience by bringing upgrades to the Galaxy AI features, productivity, security & privacy, and accessibility to provide a smoother, stable, and optimized performance.

Other than that, the update further brings stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for an efficient experience, while also integrating the September 2025 security patch that focuses on improving the device’s overall security, core functionality, and performance to provide a secure experience to the users.
