Samsung has extended the availability of the mid-range Galaxy A17 LTE in South Korea, following the launch in Europe and a few selected Asian markets.
A few months back, Samsung launched the Galaxy A17 smartphone initially in the European market. The device is available in two variants, based on connectivity: LTE and 5G. Then, it started extending the availability of the device gradually, in more regions, including the Asian market.
Samsung has already made the Galaxy A17 available in several markets, including Ireland, Taiwan, Vietnam, France, and the UK. Now, the company has launched the LTE variant of the device in the home country, Korea.
Samsung offers several convenient AI features to the device, such as Gemini, Gemini Live, and Circle to Search. An interesting fact is that it also promises to offer six years of software updates to the device.
The device is powered by the in-house Exynos 1330 chipset, integrated with 8GB RAM, and runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box. It features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and full HD+ 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The camera setup of the device includes a 50MP main, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro camera, arranged in a pill-shaped design like Samsung’s newer A-series models. Coming to the battery package, it has a 5,000mAh battery with 25 W charging support. It features all the basic AI functions and IP54 certification.
