Samsung appears to be developing One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5 update is appearing far more significant than the standard One UI 8 version. Well, a host of leaks have already elaborated on how the next-gen software is taking its shape; a new report appeared online, suggesting the One UI 8.5 development has already begun for the Galaxy S25 series.

Slowly and steadily, Samsung’s upcoming major OS is taking its shape, and with the courtesy of certain leaks and rumours, it’s believed that the next-gen software is supposed to be as advanced as One UI 7 was.

Meanwhile, a tipster, Tarun Vats, just reported that a new One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy S25 series has recently appeared on the internal test servers in South Korea, suggesting that Samsung has perhaps started testing and developing the upcoming One UI 8.5 version for the current flagship, the Galaxy S25 series, and this also signifies that the official release is imminent.

At the same time, the latest internal firmware for the Galaxy S25 series has been identified with the CYKB version number, while the development seems to be underway in the hometown, South Korea.

Well, it was earlier reported that the latest One UI 8.5 beta program is set to begin by the end of November. With that said, if this leak is to be believed, then the Korean company is perhaps preparing to open up the latest One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series as soon as possible.

Nevertheless, it was further reported that the upcoming One UI 8.5 version is said to run Android 16 QPR2 on top; however, it has yet to be clarified, and thus, we need to wait for Samsung’s official confirmation.
