Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold’s new leak reveals its key specifications

Samsung Galaxy Z Tri-Fold is rumored to launch on December 5th; meanwhile, a new leak has now revealed key specifications of the device.

A few months ago, Samsung had already officially announced that it would launch the first multi-folding device, named Galaxy Z Tri-Fold, by the end of this year. Since then, it has teased the device on several occasions. Last month, it officially unveiled the device during the APEC 2025 summit.

The most recent report claimed that the company will officially launch the upcoming Galaxy Z Tri-Fold on December 5th; however, it has not officially confirmed yet. Meanwhile, a reliable tipster, Evan Blass, has shared a post via his X handle, revealing the specifications of the device.

According to the post, the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold features a 6.5-inch cover display with a 2,600 nits peak brightness and a 10-inch inner display with a 1,600 nits peak brightness. Samsung offered a 200MP main camera for a better capturing experience.

The device has three separate screens joined by a hinge, and each of which has a dedicated thickness: 3.9mm, 4mm, and 4.2mm.  While folding, the device measures 14mm in thickness. It has a rated capacity of 5,437mAh, which is expected to be marketed as a 5,600mAh battery.

The tipster just mentioned that the device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chip; however, he hasn’t mentioned the exact name. It remains to be seen whether Samsung will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
