Samsung’s November 2025 Security Update rolls out for budget models, ahead of the flagships

The Galaxy Buddy 2, which is also popularly known as Samsung Galaxy M23 5G in some countries, other than South Korea, has started getting a new software update alongside the Galaxy A34 in Samsung’s hometown.

Well, Samsung is already starting to roll out the latest November 2025 Security update for the Galaxy Buddy 2 (Galaxy M23) and Galaxy A34 in South Korea, while the Korean company adds a few more affordable category smartphones to the November patch list, ahead of releasing the update for its flagship models, and it sounds strange!

Essentially, the latest firmware for the Galaxy M23 has been identified with the M236LKSSCEYK1 version number, while the Galaxy A34 carries the A346NKSSBEYK2 version number.

Meanwhile, as per the details, the newest November 2025 security update is just a minor security patch that brings a handful of fixes from both Google and Samsung, collectively. It, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes, but it significantly focuses on improving the device’s security, core functionality, and performance to provide a secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats or attacks.

Other than that, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for smoother functionality, and brings certain performance optimizations that eventually lead to a stable experience for the users.

Nevertheless, Samsung is currently keeping its budget-friendly or mid-tier models ahead of the premium flagships to deliver the November 2025 security update. Hopefully, it could perhaps start releasing the update for the high-end models, such as the Galaxy S series, soon.
