Samsung to introduce a compact wireless charger that supports Qi2 with the Galaxy S26

Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S26 series in early next year; meanwhile, a new report has revealed that it is also preparing to launch a compact wireless charger that supports Qi2 with the series.

It has already been revealed several times that the upcoming Galaxy S26 series could support the Qi2 charging standard, which allows phones to align themselves to the optimal charging position thanks to a built-in magnetic ring; however, it’s not officially confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, an unannounced Samsung device has now appeared (via) in the certification database in Korea, with the dedicated model number EB-U2500, which is classified as a compact wireless charger with an integrated magnetic ring.

The neat and flat design of the device hints that it can be attached directly to the back of a smartphone. This reinforces speculation that this accessory is aimed at the Galaxy S26 series; however, it’s not officially confirmed yet.

Notably, the listing hasn’t revealed the battery capacity or charging speed of the device, but the data from the global customs system shows that the device is a 5,000mAh wireless charger. This suggests that the company is ready to release the device for a commercial launch.

However, there’s no official or authentic report regarding this device yet; it will be interesting to see whether the device almost certainly exists.
