Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is potentially in the making, planned to launch next year

Samsung has now started setting up to bring its next-generation flagship Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 smartwatch next year alongside the Galaxy Watch 9.
Back in July this year, Samsung launched its latest Galaxy Watch 8 series, and now, under the hood, it has already started working on its next-generation smartwatches, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
Last year, the company launched the original Galaxy Watch Ultra; however, it didn’t launch the successor this year. Meanwhile, one of the reliable blogs, Galaxy Club, revealed that Samsung is working on a new Ultra model internally under the name Galaxy Watch 9 Ultra.
In case Samsung follows the old naming strategy, i.e., the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra was commercialized as the Galaxy Watch Ultra branding, then the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 Ultra could be named as the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
However, the report hasn’t revealed any specific details regarding the design and configuration of the watch. It’s expected that Samsung has finalized the major parameters for the upcoming watches and is setting up to enter the certification stage. It remains to be seen whether the company will continue to introduce the Classic version next year.
It’s expected that the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch 9 Ultra could launch at the Galaxy Unpacked event next year in the summer, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Flip 8.
