What can you expect from the Galaxy A24: Specifications revealed

Published

on

We just entered 2023, and Samsung is ready to introduce some exciting things in the coming days. As per the rumors, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy A34 5G and the A54 5G, and the company may unveil them this month. If we observe the timeline of phones, which Samsung released in the past years, it is confirmed that Samsung will surely introduce two to three mid-range phones in the first quarter of the year. Furthermore, the Korean giant is also spotted working on Galaxy A24 5G.

According to the information, the Galaxy A24 5G will come with a 50-megapixel rear camera. The back camera module mainly consists of three modules such as 50 Megapixels as the main camera, 5 megapixels as the ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel camera; however, there will be no depth sensor feature available in this. Additionally, it will be equipped with a 13 MP front camera.

In addition to these, the Galaxy A24 will have a powerful battery backup, the device will be powered by a 5000Mah battery, which will support 25W fast charging, but it is noticeable that the charger will not be available in the box.

If we compare them hypothetically, the device is said to be the successor of the Galaxy A23 smartphone. We don’t have much hope about heavy hardware changes except the mentioned one because it is said to be a mid-range device, so it may be somewhat identical to its predecessor device with few changes.

  • Front Camera: 13-megapixel
  • Rear camera: 50 + 5 + 2 + 2
  • 5,000mAh battery (with 25W Super Fast Charging)
  • Side fingerprint sensor

As we said earlier, the Galaxy A24 should be launched in the first quarter of this year. Samsung will soon release the official information about the device, and it is also worth noticing in which price range the device will be available in different markets.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Could Bring Wider Outer Display With Sharper Square Edges

Samsung is busily setting up to expand the Galaxy foldable series by debuting a sixth-generation foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which is expected to arrive with a wider outer display with sharper corners.

Fans are awaiting the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable phones, and leaks and rumors are increasing their curiosity among them. Now,  recent leaks have revealed that this time Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 6’s wider outer display could ditch rounded corners.

Usually, the Galaxy Z Fold series follows the same basic design language of a super narrow and tall outer display that unfolds into a large, almost square inner display. The size ratio has changed slightly over time, but the fact is that it’s thinner as compared to the rest of the foldables on the market.

Finally, it appears that Samsung could come up with a new design idea for the forthcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6.

A reliable tipster on is reporting that the external screen of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is 60.2mm, whereas its predecessor series, the Galaxy Z Fold 5,’s external display is 57.4mm. If this report comes, then you will get a wider external screen, which will surely enhance the experience, but not too wide.

The corners of the display also seem to be markedly sharper. This time, they are not rounded, as was the design in previous generations. Samsung is expected to debut the sixth-generation foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, and maybe the Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE, at the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is supposed to be held on July 10th in Paris.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is next in line to expand the flagship S series, is supposed to be scheduled for early 2025, and is expected to be powered by the in-house Exynos in the Galaxy S25 Ultra model as well.

Samsung usually announces its latest S series smartphone early in the first quarter of the year; for instance, the Galaxy S24 debuted in January this year and the Galaxy S23 debuted in February 2023. According to these schedules, the Galaxy S25 is expected to debut sometime between January and February.

Now the reports are unveiling that this time Samsung could ditch the Snapdragon chipset for its in-house Exynos 2500 to power the Galaxy S25 Ultra model. This is being reported by a tipster on X by sharing a post. He mentioned that internally at Samsung, it’s determined that the Exynos 2500 does not hang back behind the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in all prospects, such as quality.

Meanwhile, it’s not clear yet whether this is because the Nuvia cores of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 are not good, making the Exynos 2500 relatively better, or if the Exynos 2500 itself is better.

From the two-generation Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24, Samsung relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset for the Ultra variant, but now it appears that Samsung could use the Exynos 2500 chipset for the forthcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone. However, Samsung has not officially unveiled anything regarding this report yet.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is one of the most successful devices of the year, whether in terms of its pre-booking or in terms of its unit sales. The device has performed better than its predecessor. The reason behind it lies not only in the hardware perspective but also in the software, which has brought the new Galaxy AI features to new hype among consumers.

According to counterpoint research, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is listed among the top ten best smartphones, where it is the best Android device. Going into details, the Galaxy S24 ranks in fifth place immediately after Apple’s latest smartphones. The iPhone 15 Pro Max ranked first with 4.4% market share, the iPhone 15 ranked second with 4.3% market share, the iPhone Pro ranked third with 3.7% market share, and the iPhone 14 ranked fourth with 1.9% share of sales. Then, in the fifth position, the Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in with 1.9% of sales.

At first sight, it looks like Apple is significantly ahead of Samsung in terms of sales, but if you go in detail, Samsung not only provides smartphones in the high-end category but also makes several smartphones according to their affordability for a larger consumer base. Let’s explore the data about some non- flagship devices as well.

Non-flagship devices also secure a position in the top 10

Apart from the Galaxy S24 ultra device, there are other affordable devices from Samsung that also top the top ten list of sales. The Galaxy A15 5G secures the 6th position, the Galaxy A54 is in the 7th position, and the Galaxy A34 appears in the 10th position. The list ultimately depicts the dominance of Samsung and the iPhone in the global smartphone markets. However, Samsung has scope to capture the market for Android devices.
