Samsung Galaxy S22 gets firmware of June 2022 in Europe and International
Recently, Samsung has released the Galaxy S22 update/security level patch for June 2022; both the European and Asian/ African models received the June 2022 firmware update. It has not been a month since we saw the last update for the device on 17 May for the SM-908E, the Asian/African variation, and 9 May 2022 for SM-908B/DS, the European/Global variant.
This time the update was released for the Galaxy S22 Ultra model no. SM-908E is the 1 June 2022 security level patch and comes with the version/build no. S908EXXU2AVEH, the update was for Dubai, or the Asian/African model weighs 1708.89 MB.
The same update was released for SM-908B/DS variant in Germany and bore the firmware version S908BXXU2AVEH with a download size of 1506.78 MB.
The Galaxy S22 series is the latest flagship from Samsung, and it gets quicker updates and is updated accordingly. While the Europe/Global model sports Exynos 2200-4nm, other Asian/African model comes with Qualcomm SM-8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm).
So what’s changed in previous update? The last May update resolved the infamous ‘Dirty-Pipe’ problem for the Galaxy S22 trio, which caused the device to be controlled remotely. According to the changelog, this update is further advancement for security. It also updated apps for both variants accordingly.
SM908E received an update upgrading Samsung native apps, improved accessibility functions, Samsung wearables, Calculator, and Voice Recorder.
SM908B received an update that improved other security and Voice Recorder, Smart Switch, Calculator, and Samsung wearables applications.
Users started to share their screenshots after the update. According to Samsung’s history of providing updates for their flagship series, the Galaxy S22 trio is expected to get updates soon in other regions.
