The company has started pushing a new software update for Galaxy Z Fold 5G. Verizon Deploys April 2024 Security Update to 16 Samsung Galaxy Flagships in the US

Samsung started distributing the April 2024 security patch at the end of March, and then it expanded gradually to more devices. It has already distributed the update to many Galaxy devices, whether they belong to high-end or midrange Galaxy devices,but due to server limitations, the update is not reaching every region. Now, with the latest development, Verizon has started rolling out the latest security patch to several Galaxy devices.

Verizon has made the April 2024 security patch update live for several Galaxy devices that are bound to its network. This includes the Galaxy S23Galaxy S22Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy S21 FE (2022), Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy A54 5G.

Samsung has rolled out the April 2024 security patch for almost all the high-end devices, and now it is focusing on providing updates to affordable-range devices. For instance, earlier it distributed the security patch for the Galaxy Tab S9 series; now it has started serving the update to the affordable tablets, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.

Notably, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ are getting an April 2024 security patch update in Europe. Samsung has already rolled out the April 2024 security patch update to the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy A53 in the US, but the update was available for limited users. Now the update is available on more carriers.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A53 is getting the firmware update with the firmware version number A536USQS9DXDA. It has been spotted on two carriers, including T-Mobile and MetroPCS, and is expected to be available on more carriers in the next few days.

The April 2024 update brings the latest security patches for the Galaxy devices. Going into details, the update has brought more than 40 fixes, and Google has added 27 patches that will improve the security of the Android OS.
