Samsung Becomes The World’s Top TV Provider In The Q3 Of 2022


Samsung Electronics is one of the leading tech companies of this time. From Hardware to Smartphones, Tablets, and Televisions, the company is spreading its legs across the whole tech industry. Samsung became the world’s top Television provider with a total of 30.2% of the total market share in the duration of three months (July to September). This figure is the same as last year’s figures.

Even after the lower demands of the Television market, the South Korean manufacturer claimed to have the largest share in its plate. The television market has seen a market low in sales and stops at 143 million units only, which is 4.4% less than the last year’s sales in the third quarter of the year. The sale deduction happened because of economic and geopolitical uncertainties. Besides Samsung, LG has secured the 2nd position with a total of 17% market share.

In the third quarter, the global Television market fell by 12.7% in a year, and its value was reduced to 72.4 billion USD only. Coming to premium television devices (above 2500 USD prize), the South Korean company has occupied 51.1% of the global market. The company’s premium model TVs are manufactured under its Neo QLED brand, which has sold over 36.5 million units since 2017 in which the 30 million mark is surpassed in the first half, according to the company.
