In the last few days, Samsung has released Android 13 for its mid-range phones. After updating Galaxy A71, the company has released the latest update for its companion device, Galaxy A51. The update brings the latest One UI 5.0, which includes improvements regarding the UI design; it adds some new functions in the built-in system apps, including Camera, Gallery, Samsung keyboard, Settings, and more. The new Android 13 update also brings support for new interesting features such as a Stacked widget, AR emoji ad stickers, and Extract and scan text.
Some new customization features are also introduced, which are easily accessible from the lock screen. It also adds new options in the color palette and carries several new security and privacy functions, such as now you will get an alert if you visit any suspicious site through Samsung Internet. Additionally, it also improved some functions under the settings app like RAM Plus, Auto optimization, DND, and more.
Currently, the Android 13 update is available in several European countries, including (via sammobile) Switzerland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, France, Austria, Luxembourg, and Nordic, Baltic, and South East European countries. However, it will be available in other parts of Europe soon.
Users who own Galaxy A51 devices can identify the latest update by the One UI 5.0 update by its firmware version number A515FXXU5GVK6.
