Galaxy S20 FE updated to Android 13 & One UI 5.0 in the US

These days Samsung released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable version for its number of Galaxy smartphones & tablets. Now the company has started rolling out the update for Galaxy S20 FE in the US; however, the device has already received the Android 13 update in other countries.

According to the information, the One UI 5.0 update is currently available for the carrier-locked Galaxy S20 FE 5G. Notably, the update is spotted on the US Cellular’s network. However, the update would be gradually available on other country networks. The update also includes the December 2022 security patch. The latest update carries a new firmware version number G781USQU9GVK8.

The device welcomes the many new features of the latest release of the Android 13 with One UI 5.0, such as the new customization possibilities (with dynamic themes with more complete color palettes and wider icons), new animations and transition effects, new blur effects, new styles for the clock (for the lock screen and beyond), new settings for split, the new Connected Devices menu within Settings, what’s new for the Camera app (and more) and the Gallery, the broader notifications, the new pop-up for incoming calls, and so on.

The Samsung keyboard has now improved and received some new functions such as stickers, emojis, and gifs; some additional functions have also been introduced, like medical info, SOS, RAM Plus, and more.
