One UI Core 5.0 rolls out for Galaxy A13 in Canada
Samsung consistently provides firmware updates for its galaxy devices; for a few days, the company has been distributing all new firmware updates in the Canadian region, now following up at the same pace. The Korean giant has now released the Android 13 update for Galaxy A13.
Galaxy A13 was launched in March 2022 and came with Android 12 pre-installed. Now the device is receiving its first major update in the form of Android 13. It is a budget phone and is expected to get more updates in future, but compared to mid-range devices, it isn’t eligible for that many updates.
The Android 13 update carries a new firmware version number for Galaxy A13 devices as A136WVLU3CVK9. However, the update doesn’t bring a new security patch update with it. Meanwhile, it is still using the November 2022 security patch.
One UI Core 5 Upgrade (Android 13) For Galaxy A13
Samsung always distributes two variants of One UI to its Galaxy devices based on their hardware capabilities. The first is One UI 5.0 original, and the other is the Core version. There are only a few differences between them, some features may be extra in the One UI 5.0, but all the important features are similar in both of them.
The One UI core 5.0 update brings a restructured UI design which gives a fresh new look to the device. There are some new; improved functions have been introduced under several inbuilt apps, including Camera, Samsung Keyboard, Galley and more. According to the changelog, it also comes with some new and improved features like Auto optimization, multitasking split screen, RAM Plus, stacked widgets and so on.
