Samsung is adding one more device to Canada’s December 2022 security update list. It is worth noting that its predecessor device received the latest security update a few days ago. Samsung has updated the Galaxy S20 FE device before its latest fan edition device. However, both of the devices get discriminated against at the time of software updates. Usually, Samsung rolls out the update far earlier for its main series devices, including Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 series.
According to the information, the Canadian unit of the Galaxy S21 FE is now grabbing new security firmware updates. The firmware carries a new software version number G990WVLS4DVKA. Notably, the device already received Android 13 a few weeks ago.
December 2022 security update comes with several bug fixes that improve the overall performance and stability of the device, and as the name suggests, it brings a lot of enhancements to the security of the device, as well as adds different types of patches that work as a locked door that protects your data and privacy and enhance your device security mechanism to the next level.
According to Samsung’s official documentation, the December 2022 security patch update includes 93 fixes; from those, 80 patches were added by Google, which targets Android OS, and the other 13 patches were included by Samsung for its Galaxy devices. Moreover, these patches address several security-related issues which were discovered in previous updates.
