Samsung’s Galaxy S10 5G is one of the many devices waiting for a security update to arrive. The January 2023 security update for the Galaxy S10 5G is a welcome addition to the phone. It brings an improved level of security, as well as a range of bug fixes and performance enhancements that help ensure users get the best experience possible from their device.
The Galaxy S10 5G was released in March 2019 and was the first smartphone available with 5G connectivity. The device has since received three major OS updates, but it’s now more than three years old and is no longer eligible for monthly security updates. However, Samsung continues to support the device with occasional security patches.
The new update of Galaxy S10 5G carries firmware version G977BXXSDHWA3. And along with January 2023 security patch, the new update fixes more than fifty security issues. The update is available in Australia, Austria, France, Italy, Nordic countries, Romania, and the United Kingdom.
