Raise to wake feature not working on Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4 in the latest WearOS update
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy watch 4 are undoubtedly the best watches in the market, there are unbeatable hardware specs available in the watches, but as you know, these watches work with the inbuilt wear OS which is the main support system that provides more utility functions. With the latest updates, these watches are going more productive day by day, but due to testing mistakes, some updates also create some new issues, as we have previously reported about the Galaxy Watch 4 bricked issue.
Now the “Raise to wake” feature is broken
“Raise to wake” is the very basic feature of smartwatches that allows users to see the time notification by just raising their wrist; it’s accomplished by detecting the motion of your hands by its inbuilt sensors; all the things are going right until the new update.
After updating the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 4, some users are reporting that the ‘the raise to wake’ feature is not working properly, for the owners when they raise their wrist to see the time or any other notification, the watch wakes up, but then it doesn’t give time to read or watch the time properly and immediately back to sleep. Some users also tried full diagnosing on their watches, but it doesn’t help them; it is not displaying any problem there.
There are multiple users posted on different community platforms, including Samsung community and Reddit, but Samsung hasn’t reacted to it; maybe the company is addressing the issue but taking time to release the next update for fixing it. We will update you if the company take any step regarding this issue. If you are facing any other issues with your Galaxy Watch, kindly tell us in the comment section. (via – 9To5Google)
