At last, Gemini is finally on Google Messages! After missing the fixed schedule, Gemini is now available on Google’s messaging platform.

Gemini by Google is designed for multimodality, reasoning, and creative collaboration and is supposed to arrive in the beta version of Google Messages starting in the final week of February, as Google announced. But the Giants missed the schedule, and now they are making this happen.

If the recent reports are to be believed, the latest beta version of Google Messages is offering a Gemini facility. Interested parties can easily access the chatbot by just hitting the button to start a new chat, and the application will offer the option to interact with Gemini right before the contacts list starts.

Then click on it, and Google Messages will open the chat with the chatbot. Now one can easily interact with Gemini the same as with the web portal or chatbot’s application. Now you have the power to draft messages, brainstorm ideas, plan events, or simply have fun conversations.

However, for now, a Gemini facility on Google Messages is only available on specific smartphones, which are as follows:

  • Google Pixel 8 series
  • Google Pixel 7 series
  • Google Pixel 6 series
  • Galaxy S24 series
  • Galaxy S23 series
  • Galaxy S22 series
  • Galaxy Z Fold 5
  • Galaxy Z Flip 5

Notably, if you want to access the latest feature, you must have a personal Google account, set the language to English, and select a specific country out of 165 countries. By following all these instructions, you can easily access this new feature on Google Messages.

The Korean giants have introduced One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy S24 series, which brings several features of convenience, one of which is Photo Ambient, which enhances the lock screen view since it adds weather effects to the lock screen wallpaper. Now, by delivering a new update, Samsung is improving the performance of those effects.

The Vision Core App is getting a huge update, which has the identification version 1.0.14.0. It is pretty small, around 7.86MB. Interested users can easily get the update through the Galaxy Store.

The update fixes all the bugs and known issues that were creating a kind of inconvenience for users. It is also noticed that this update enhances the realism of weather effects on the lock screen wallpaper; for instance, after upgrading, raindrops now have a splash effect on the object as well as the people in the picture. Same as that, snowflakes fall in the front and rear of people appearing in the wallpaper.

Presently, the brand has made this feature available on the Galaxy S24 series. It is expected that it will probably not be released to the 2023 Galaxy flagship devices, which include the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, along with the forthcoming One UI 6.1 update, which is supposed to be released to these devices on March 28.

Interested parties can easily get access to the Photo Ambient feature on the Galaxy S24 series by just following the steps mentioned here:

WhatsApp Upgrading The Terms of Service & Privacy Policies in April

Published

WhatsApp is adding an extra layer of privacy and security settings to update its Terms of Service as well as privacy policies.

WhatsApp users belonging to Europe should pay attention here! WhatsApp has announced that it is upgrading the Terms of Service and Privacy Policies for users located in Europe. The company introduced these changes after the introduction of two new EU regulations, which are the Digital Services Act and the Digital Markets Act.

Meta-owned WhatsApp stated that it will add more details regarding its terms regarding various guidelines and regulations, which will dictate what is and is not allowed to be done within the application.

As per the new law established in Europe, the DMA stands for Digital Markets Act, which needs messaging applications such as WhatsApp to work with other applications. This means that users will have the power to send messages to people using different applications, and end-to-end encryption will keep the messages private. More details regarding how this will function, particularly with WhatsApp, are arriving soon.

It appears that changes will be made to the technique for transferring international data. More specifically for European users, WhatsApp will focus on the new EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Apart from all, the noticeable fact is that the minimum age for messaging services will be reduced from 16 to 13 years within the European country.

As per the developers of services, this update will make sure that the minimum age needs are met, which are constant internationally. Also, privacy will not be compromised at any cost, and personal calls as well as messages will also remain protected by end-to-end encryption, so no one else can view their content.

This update will come into existence on April 11, 2024, for users who already signed up for the messaging service before February 16. Also, those who don’t want this update or avoid accepting the new regulations introduced can request information or delete their account directly.
