Samsung updating Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro in the US

Samsung is actively working towards the new updates and doing very appreciative work; as of now, it is busy rolling out the new One UI 5.1 update for its eligible Galaxy devices. On the other hand, the company has also released new updates for its watches. However, its watches are out of this session because they are running on the Wear OS, which is designed by Google for the watches, and also have the One UI skin by Samsung. Now its Fifth generation of watches will get a new update in the US.

Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro get new firmware in the US

Samsung has timely given one UI update for the smartwatches as well, and as of now, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro is running on One UI 4.5, which is based on Android Wear OS 3.0 and continuing the legacy the company is back again with a new security update for Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 could have curve display

The new update comes with January 2023; this is the normal maintenance update which doesn’t bring any new features but comes with some improvements that come with fixes that strengthen the security of the device.

Users who own the Galaxy Watch 5 get the latest update with version numbers R905USQU1AWB2 and R915USQU1AWB2 for 40mm and 44mm variants, respectively. While the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro receives the same update with version number R925USQU1AWB2. The update is currently rolling out on the T- Mobile’s network, and it is expected that other networks will release the same update in the coming days.
