On Feb 1st, Samsung introduced its latest flagship device Galaxy S23 which is available with the latest One UI 5.1 update. After taking a short break, the company has started rolling out the latest skin update for eligible Galaxy devices. The Korean giant has rapidly expanded the update for its device available across the world, but having a large number of devices, the company hasn’t updated all of the devices. To continue the session now, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is getting the One UI 5.1 update.

The One UI 5.1 update for Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is now available in European countries. Users can easily identify the latest update by its firmware version number T220XXU2CWB3. The update also includes a new security patch as of February 2023. As of the time of writing, this update is available only in the WiFi variant. It is expected that the update will be expanded on the LTE variant in the next few days.

The One UI 5.1 will enhance the multitasking features

Most people enjoy multitasking on their tablets, so Samsung has installed many new features for its Galaxy device in the last few major updates. Now with the One UI 5.1, some new features have been introduced that will enhance your multitasking experience, as now you can easily minimize or maximize an app window without going to the options menu. In the split screen mode, the apps which you often use will be shown below your recently used apps. Now you can easily drag the divider and easily resize both windows.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was launched back in 2021; the device came with Android 11. Later the device received two more updates with time; as of now, the device is running on Android 13- based One UI 5.0; however, the device is still eligible for one more Android update because of Samsung’s policy of ging a minimum of three Android updates.
