Samsung officially Introduces Galaxy XCover7 and Tab Active5 for use in extreme environments

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy XCover 7 and Galaxy Tab Active 5 today, both smartphones designed for business use. 5G connection, faster mobile processors, and more memory will all be features of both devices that will improve mobility. On top of that, the XCover 7 has a newly developed, strong camera in the back edition with a larger display resolution and size. On the other hand, the Tab Active 5 offers the flexibility to operate in several settings, all thanks to the removable battery and no battery mode.

As per the IDC Marketscape Worldwide Rugged Mobile Devices 2023 Vendor Assessment report, more than one third of enterprise organizations in the United States deployed ruggedized mobiles in 2022. Additionally, 38% of these organizations stated that they intend to buy additional mobile devices until 2023.

The strong and flexible models are:

  • This device is IP68-rated for water and dust production, which makes it suitable for harsh work situations.

Safety and Security:

  • The Galaxy XCover 7 and Galaxy Tab Active 5 feature Samsung KNOX Vault, a first for Samsung’s ruggedized smartphones.
  • Knox Vault protects the most important information on these devices, such as PIN numbers, passwords, and patterns.
