On February 2022, Samsung launched its new flagship device Galaxy S22 in the Galaxy unpacked event 2022; it came with One UI 4.1, which is based on Android 12, later the device received some significant updates which brought some new features that enhanced it’s over performance whether its camera performance or other internal functions. For instance, with the One UI 5.0, the device has grabbed the support of a Camera assistant that offers so many extra functionalities and makes it easy to customize it according to your comfort.
Recently, Samsung launched a massive new camera update for its Galaxy S23 device in Korea, which brings some new features and improvements for it. The company has also updated its Camera assistant app and made it available to older devices.
After looking at the Changelog of the new update of Galaxy S23, a user posts, “I wonder if the focus priority function will be added to the camera assistant in the S22 series”. Then the Samsung community moderator replied and confirmed that it would be applied after applying S23. However, it is not yet confirmed when the feature will be rolled out for Galaxy S22.
For now, the availability of the feature is confirmed for Galaxy S22, but it may also be possible that the Autofocus feature will be available for some more Galaxy devices if there is no foundation of hardware specs. However, it is highly expected that the feature is only available for high-end devices in the long run.
